Cellex-C Clear Complexion Seboregulator

An ultramarine-blue, translucent, creamy gel. Contains a trio of sebum-controlling ingredients (iris extract, zinc and vitamin A) in a moisture-surging formulation designed to immediately liquefy upon skin contact. Imparts instant, refreshing moisture to dehydrated, troubled, acne prone skin.

Skin Types / Conditions: Oily, acne prone skin.

When to use: Day or night, as required.

Directions:
1. Cleanse and Tone.
2. Apply Cellex-C Serum for Sensitive Skin.
3. Apply Hydra 5 B-Complex.
4. Lightly apply Clear Complexion Seboregulator to face, neck and ‘V’ of chest. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
5. Apply Cellex-C SunShade SPF 30+ if required.
6. Apply make-up if desired. (Whenever possible, leave your skin free to breathe to clear the problem area faster.)

Features:
• Iris Florentina Root. Named after the Greek goddess of the Rainbow—Iris—the root of this beautiful flower possesses a unique violet-like fragrance and is recognized medically for its ability to help regulate overactive sebaceous glands. Because this ingredient is so scarce and expensive, it is often adulterated. The Iris Root Extract incorporated into Cellex-C’s formulation is purchased from a leading French phytochemical company and is of the highest quality. Their specific extraction process enables them to extract the active part of the rhyzomes, particularly the skin benefitting lycosides and rutosides.
• Zinc. Shown to be effective in the treatment of acne as it is an efficient seboregulator and has a synergistic effect with vitamin A to accelerate wound healing.
• Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate). Vitamin A is recommended for oily skin as it inhibits the synthesis of comedos inducing skin lipids.
• Peppermint. This pungent herb contains powerful antiseptic agents and menthol which contribute to the pleasant cooling effect when applied to irritated skin.
• Hyaluronic Acid. A natural moisturizer with exceptional water-binding capabilities. When applied to the skin, the gel forms a film in a manner similar to the way it holds water in the intercellular matrix of the dermal connective tissues and encourages the delivery of other nutrients to the skin.
• Azulene. This active ingredient, derived from the German chamomile flower, gives the product its ultramarine-blue color. It is renowned as an anti-inflammatory and soothing agent with the ability to neutralize skin irritants. Excellent for sensitive skin.
